At Midian, we respect your privacy and believe that you should be in control of your data.
Data we collect
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to provide our services and/or products to you. We do not use cookies to track you across sites. In addition to the information that you provide directly to us, we may collect data about your usage of our site. Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Sharing your data
We use Matomo, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site. Our analytics are hosted by Matomo on our behalf, and Matomo does not use this data for any purpose other than providing the analytics service to us. When a visitor arrives via a Google ad, the URL includes a click identifier (gclid) that we store so we can send a conversion signal back to Google and measure ad performance. Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. If you arrive at our site through a direct link or any non-ad source, no identifier is stored and no data is shared with Google. When we partner with a podcast, magazine, or similar outlet, we may give them a special tracking link. If you visit through one of these links, we record the referral so we can share aggregate visitor counts with the partner (for example, “500 visitors came from Podcast X this month”), but we do not share individual visitor data with these partners. We also share data with our other service providers (for example, our hosting provider) only when necessary to operate our service. We do not sell or rent your data.
Your rights
You can at any time request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by emailing privacy@midian.live. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the bottom of this page. If you’d like to be notified of future changes, you can email privacy@midian.live to be added to a notification list.
